Rwanda's Ministry of ICT and Innovation has convened an AI Partners Roundtable, bringing together key stakeholders from government, the private sector, academia and international institutions to strengthen collaboration and accelerate the country's artificial intelligence agenda.

The roundtable, led by Minister of ICT and Innovation Paula Ingabire, focused on advancing AI adoption through strategic partnerships and highlighted the role of the newly established Rwanda AI Agency in driving the country's AI ecosystem.

Participants discussed how coordinated partnerships can support the development and deployment of AI technologies, expand digital inclusion and help bridge the digital divide while ensuring that the benefits of artificial intelligence reach all segments of society.

The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration between public and private sector organisations, academic institutions and global partners to support innovation, build AI capacity and promote responsible AI development in Rwanda.
