MobileMoney Fintech Limited
has partnered with IC Asset Managers to launch the IC Liquidity Fund on the
MoMo App, marking another step in expanding access to digital investment
solutions for Ghanaians.
The new service enables MoMo
customers to access a regulated investment fund directly through their mobile
phones, allowing them to save and manage their wealth through a simple and
convenient digital platform.
The launch forms part of
MoMo’s broader strategy to move beyond traditional payment services by
providing customers with additional financial solutions that support investment
and wealth management.
According to MobileMoney
Fintech Limited, the partnership with IC Asset Managers builds on a
long-standing relationship that began during MTN Ghana’s Initial Public
Offering (IPO) in 2018, when MoMo helped customers participate in the purchase
of MTN Ghana shares.
The companies said the
latest collaboration represents a continuation of efforts to democratise access
to financial opportunities by bringing investment products closer to everyday
users.
The IC Liquidity Fund joins
other financial products already available through the MoMo ecosystem,
including Flexi Pensions in partnership with People’s Pensions Trust,
Coronation SME Insurance and Misika by Adehyeman Savings & Loans.
MobileMoney Fintech Limited
said the expansion of its financial services portfolio reflects its commitment
to promoting financial inclusion and enabling more Ghanaians to access secure
and convenient digital financial solutions.
The company added that
integrating investment products into the MoMo App will help deepen
participation in Ghana’s financial markets by making investment opportunities
more accessible to a wider segment of the population.
