MTN Ghana Chief Executive
Officer, Stephen Blewett has joined President John Dramani Mahama at the Nasdaq
Stock Market in New York as Ghana showcased its investment potential and
strengthened its message to global investors that the country is open for
business.
Blewett’s participation
alongside President Mahama placed Ghana’s private sector at the centre of the
investment engagement, as the country presented opportunities for strategic
investment and international partnerships.
President Mahama was
featured on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square with the bold message, “Ghana
Is Open for Business,” setting the tone for the U.S.–Ghana Presidential
Roundtable.
The engagement positioned
Ghana before global investors as a destination for opportunity, partnership and
sustainable growth, with the participation of MTN Ghana highlighting the role
of leading businesses in Ghana’s investment and economic landscape.
Blewett’s presence also
reflected the importance of collaboration between government and the private
sector in promoting Ghana’s investment proposition and strengthening
international business relationships.
The Nasdaq engagement formed
part of President Mahama’s efforts to showcase Ghana’s economic potential and
encourage strategic partnerships that can contribute to sustainable growth.
