Nilesat held a series of
meetings with global satellite and broadcasting companies during CABSAT 2026 in
Dubai to explore cooperation, partnerships and new technologies for satellite
broadcasting and digital transmission.
The Egyptian Satellite
Company said the meetings were part of its commitment to keeping pace with the
latest developments in the satellite industry and broadcasting technologies
across various platforms, while exploring leading technologies and solutions
offered by companies in the field.
The meetings were attended
by Eng. Maysa Kamel, Chief Technical Officer; Mr. Hesham Lotfy, Chief
Commercial Officer; and Eng. Mohamed El-Hawiet, Director of Operations.
Among the companies involved
in the discussions was China SATCOM, with talks exploring avenues for
cooperation and partnership in connecting sites and companies across various
frequency bands within Egypt and the Middle East.
Nilesat also held
discussions with the American company TVU on ways of cooperation and
partnership regarding content transmission and reception solutions.
Talks with British company
Arqiva focused on cooperation and partnership opportunities with the largest
earth station networks in Europe, particularly in the areas of backup and
Disaster Recovery (DR).
Nilesat also met with
Emirati company Advanced Media to discuss cooperation and partnership in
monitoring and tracking technologies for central control rooms.
