The Orange Burkina Faso
Foundation has committed CFA1.5 billion to support the development of
educational infrastructure in Burkina Faso under the Presidential Initiative
for Quality Education for All.
The commitment was
formalised through a grant agreement signed with the National Office for Major
Projects of Burkina Faso (BN-GPB) in Ouagadougou.
The funding reflects the
Foundation's desire to join the national effort to develop human capital
through investments in educational infrastructure.
The agreement forms part of
efforts under the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education for All, which
seeks to strengthen access to quality education across the country.
Through the contribution,
the Orange Burkina Faso Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to promoting equal
opportunities for all through support for the construction of educational
infrastructure.
The initiative underscores
the role of private sector institutions and foundations in supporting national
development priorities, particularly efforts to improve educational access and
strengthen human capital development in Burkina Faso.
