Côte d’Ivoire’s Ministry of
National Education, Literacy and Technical Education (MENAET) has signed a
partnership agreement with Keolis Côte d’Ivoire to strengthen the links between
technical education, vocational training and the urban transport sector, with a
focus on improving young people’s access to internships and employment
opportunities.
The agreement was signed on
Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the ministry’s offices in Plateau, under the
chairmanship of N’Guessan Koffi, Minister of National Education, Literacy and
Technical Education, in the presence of Jean-Louis Moulot, Minister Delegate in
charge of Technical Education.
The partnership aims to
better prepare young people for the realities of the world of work by
developing their skills and facilitating their access to professional
opportunities.
It is built around three
areas: skills development, awareness of the professions and challenges of urban
transport, and the promotion of access to internships and recruitment
opportunities.
Under the agreement, MENAET
will mobilise its teaching teams, promote careers in the transport sector and
provide profiles suited to the company’s needs. Keolis Côte d’Ivoire will
contribute its technical expertise, help strengthen the skills of teaching
teams and support the implementation of planned activities.
The partnership opens new
opportunities for collaboration between the education system and the business
sector, reflecting MENAET’s commitment to promoting technical education that is
more closely aligned with the needs of the productive sector and the employment
prospects of young people.
