Rwanda’s digital services
platform Irembo has engaged with South Korean institutions, including the team
behind the country’s integrated civil-service portal GOV24 and technology
company Samsung SDS, to exchange knowledge and explore potential areas for future
collaboration.
The engagements took place
in Seoul following the World Bank Group AI & Digital Summit, providing
opportunities to deepen relationships, exchange practical experience and learn
from institutions shaping digital transformation in different contexts.
The Irembo team began with a
courtesy call at the Embassy of Rwanda in Seoul, where discussions reflected on
the week’s engagements and opportunities for Rwanda’s digital ecosystem to
connect with partners in the Republic of Korea.
The team also met with the
GOV24 team to compare approaches to digital public-service delivery, citizen
experience, platform integration and the development of government services at
scale.
Visits concluded with
Samsung SDS, where discussions focused on knowledge sharing, technology,
digital transformation and potential areas for future collaboration.
Irembo said the engagements
reinforced its commitment to learning from international experience and
applying relevant insights to strengthen Rwanda’s digital public services.
“Progress comes from
combining local experience with global learning, and turning those exchanges
into stronger systems and better services for people,” the company said.
