Modupe Kadri, the Chief Finance Officer of MTN Nigeria, has been honoured
with the esteemed 2024 ICAN Merit Award by The Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). This recognition, in the members category, not
only celebrates Kadri's personal journey but also serves as an evidence to the
collective diligence and dedication exhibited by the entire team at MTN
Nigeria, under the guidance of Karl Olutokun Toriola.
The ICAN Merit Award is a prestigious accolade that acknowledges
individuals who have demonstrated exceptional prowess and commitment to the
field of accountancy and finance.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Mr. Kadri noted that this achievement is not solely his own
but a reflection of the concerted efforts of the entire MTN Nigeria team. He
extended heartfelt appreciation to President Innocent Okwuosa, and all the
Council Members of ICAN for bestowing this distinction upon him.
He also extended congratulations to his fellow awardees, HE Mallam Umar
Namadi, Ebenezer Onyeagwu, Emmanuel Nnorom, and Dr. Rabiu Olowo, recognizing
their exemplary leadership and continued dedication to excellence.
Acknowledging the pivotal role played by his colleagues in the Finance
department at MTN Nigeria, Mr. Kadri stressed the invaluable support they
provided on his journey to receiving the ICAN Merit Award. “Their unwavering
commitment and teamwork have been instrumental in achieving this significant milestone," he said.
