The Ivorian
government has announced the inaugural Ivoire Tech Forum 2025, a premier
international event scheduled for July 9-11 in Abidjan, following its approval
during the May 7 Council of Ministers meeting. The forum will serve as a
strategic platform to connect Ivorian and African digital startups with global
investors, corporations, and policymakers while showcasing homegrown innovation
and talent.
Centered on the
theme "Digital at the service of all: how new technologies are
transforming our daily lives," the event will convene 500 participants,
including tech entrepreneurs, government representatives, and international
investors. The program features interactive exhibitions, expert panels,
hands-on workshops, and startup pitch competitions across four critical
domains: cybersecurity and data protection, artificial intelligence, tech
entrepreneurship, and digital infrastructure development.
The forum
aligns with Côte d'Ivoire's national Digital Transformation Strategy, which
seeks to position the country as West Africa's digital hub. By facilitating
cross-border partnerships and knowledge exchange, the initiative aims to unlock
investment opportunities while addressing Africa's unique digital
challenges.
