AXIAN Telecom and Yas Senegal leadership teams have met with Senegal's President to reinforce their partnership in advancing the country's ambitious digital agenda. The discussion centered on collaborative efforts to accelerate Senegal's technological development through infrastructure investment, innovation, and digital inclusion. 

During the meeting, AXIAN Telecom Chairman Hassanein Hiridjee, CEO Hassan Jaber, and Yas Senegal CEO Kamal Okba outlined their shared vision for Senegal's digital future. The companies emphasized their commitment to expanding affordable, high-quality connectivity across the nation while investing in next-generation technologies including 5G networks, artificial intelligence, fiber optics, and data centers. 

A key focus of the partnership involves reducing connectivity costs to ensure broader access for Senegalese citizens and businesses. The companies also highlighted plans to support local talent development through education and training programs, aligning with Senegal's long-term vision for a digitally empowered society. 

The collaboration between AXIAN Telecom and Yas Senegal supports Senegal's "Technological New Deal" and the broader "Senegal 2050" strategy, which aims to position the country as a leader in digital sovereignty and innovation. By combining infrastructure development with human capital investment, the initiative seeks to create lasting economic opportunities while bridging the digital divide. 

AXIAN Telecom reaffirmed its dedication to Africa's sustainable progress, emphasizing that its investments extend beyond technology to include community growth and long-term prosperity.
