During the
meeting, AXIAN Telecom Chairman Hassanein Hiridjee, CEO Hassan Jaber, and Yas
Senegal CEO Kamal Okba outlined their shared vision for Senegal's digital
future. The companies emphasized their commitment to expanding affordable,
high-quality connectivity across the nation while investing in next-generation
technologies including 5G networks, artificial intelligence, fiber optics, and
data centers.
A key focus of
the partnership involves reducing connectivity costs to ensure broader access
for Senegalese citizens and businesses. The companies also highlighted plans to

aligning with Senegal's long-term vision for a digitally empowered
society.

The
collaboration between AXIAN Telecom and Yas Senegal supports Senegal's
"Technological New Deal" and the broader "Senegal 2050"
strategy, which aims to position the country as a leader in digital sovereignty
