Vodacom
Congo (RDC) S.A. has hosted a high-level delegation from the Vodafone Group as
part of a strategic visit aimed at strengthening dialogue, collaboration and
advancing the digital future of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The
visiting delegation comprised Mohamed Abdallah, Chief Executive Officer for
International Activities at Vodafone Group; Murielle Puglionisi Lorilloux,
Group Director for Commercial and Strategy; Dejan Kastelic, Director in charge
of Technology; and Ayman Essam, Group Director for External Affairs and
Regulation. The visit focused on gaining a deeper understanding of the
Congolese telecommunications market and reaffirming the Group’s commitment to
the country’s socio-economic development.

As
part of the visit, Ayman Essam held discussions with the Minister of Posts and
Telecommunications, His Excellency Jose Mpanda, alongside a Vodacom Congo
delegation led by General Manager Khalil F. Al Americani. The meeting addressed
key priorities within the telecommunications sector and explored practical
measures to accelerate digital transformation across the country.

Vodacom
Congo said the visit underscores its commitment to close collaboration with
public institutions, continued investment in local talent, and expanding
digital connectivity. The company reiterated its focus on supporting inclusive
and sustainable digital development in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
