Safaricom and Stanbic explore collaboration to drive Africa’s growth

The
Group CEO of Safaricom PLC for Kenya and Ethiopia, Dr. Peter Ndegwa has hosted
the leadership team of Stanbic Bank, including Group CEO Sim Tshabalala and
East Africa Regional CEO Joshua Oigara, to discuss strategic collaboration
aimed at advancing Africa’s next phase of growth.
The
meeting focused on leveraging shared objectives to enable opportunity, drive
innovation, and transform communities through value-driven partnerships. Both
parties emphasized the alignment between Stanbic Bank Kenya’s commitment to
channeling capital and capability into the continent and Safaricom’s ambition
to deliver digital solutions that improve lives.
Dr.
Ndegwa expressed optimism about the potential of these collaborations to build
resilient industries, empower businesses, and foster a more connected and
