Konza Technopolis hosts former Vision 2030 Director and Huawei delegation

Technopolis CEO John Paul Okwiri has hosted Mugo Kibati, former
Director-General of the Vision 2030 Delivery Secretariat and current CEO of
Telkom Kenya, along with a delegation from strategic partner Huawei, in a
high-level engagement to advance digital infrastructure and innovation.
Mr. Kibati, who played a pivotal role in conceptualizing Konza Technopolis as a flagship Vision 2030 project, was recognized for his foundational leadership in translating Kenya’s national vision into a world-class smart city designed to drive the country’s transition to a knowledge-based economy.
The
meeting underscored the importance of sustained partnerships between government
and industry in strengthening connectivity, supporting digital innovation, and
positioning Kenya as a leading hub for technology and entrepreneurship in
Africa’s Silicon Savannah.
