Kenya Space Agency hosts U.S. Space Forces Africa Commander for bilateral talks

The Director General of the Kenya Space Agency has hosted Brigadier General Jacob Middleton, Commanding General of U.S. in Nairobi.

The visit featured high-level bilateral discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, including education and training, commercial data opportunities to support border and maritime monitoring, and other potential avenues for collaboration in the space sector.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the United States and Kenya in advancing space capabilities. The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen partnerships and enhance collaboration in the space domain.

Senior officers and staff from both countries participated in the meetings. The Director General of the Kenya Space Agency expressed appreciation to the United States for its continued support in developing Kenya’s space ecosystem.
