MTN Congo has organized a masterclass on the
responsible use of the internet for students at the General Leclerc Military Preparatory School in Brazzaville, Republic
of the Congo.
The session focused on raising awareness about online
safety, digital best practices and the importance of responsible use of digital
tools. Participants were also introduced to practical “cyber-reflexes” aimed at
helping young people navigate the internet safely while benefiting from the
opportunities offered by digital technology.

The initiative was carried out under the MTN Congo Foundation through its Skills Academy
programme, which seeks to equip young people with essential digital
competencies through training, awareness campaigns and skills development
activities.
Students who actively participated in
the masterclass were recognized with gifts and surprise prizes to encourage
engagement and reinforce the learning experience.
The event was also attended by
Congolese artist Aldy B, who supported the
initiative and interacted with students during the programme.

According
to MTN Congo, the masterclass forms part of ongoing efforts to support youth
development by promoting digital literacy and encouraging responsible use of
technology among young people.
