Telecom has entered into a strategic partnership with the National Productivity
and Competitiveness Council (NPCC) to implement Kaizen projects across the
company, aimed at strengthening a culture of continuous improvement and
operational excellence.

The
collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement at
Telecom Tower. Mauritius Telecom was represented by its Chief Executive
Officer, Veemal Gungadin, while NPCC was represented by Executive Director
Vinaye Ancharaz and Chairman Arshad Duymun.
The
signing ceremony was attended by Adil Ameer Meea, Minister of Industry, SMEs
and Cooperatives, and Avinash Ramtohul, Minister of Information Technology,
Communication and Innovation, as well as Mauritius Telecom Chairman Sarat
Lallah.

The
initiative is expected to integrate Kaizen-driven operational practices within
Mauritius Telecom’s operations, supporting efforts to enhance productivity,
efficiency, and digital transformation. Officials say the partnership will
further position the telecom operator as a national benchmark for
organizational performance while reinforcing its commitment to innovation and
service excellence.
