The
Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Egypt has announced the
opening of applications for the third edition of the Logivators programme,
aimed at fostering innovation in the country’s transport and logistics sector.
The
initiative is being implemented in collaboration with Creativa Innovation Hubs,
Startup Factory Egypt, Egytrans NOSCO, and Alexandria Container and Cargo
Handling Company. It is designed to support entrepreneurs developing solutions
in logistics and supply chain management.
Logivators
forms part of broader efforts by Creativa Innovation Hubs and the Technology
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, an arm of the Information Technology
Industry Development Agency, to strengthen Egypt’s startup ecosystem and
promote technology-driven entrepreneurship.
The
programme will feature a four-day hackathon hosted at the Creativa Innovation
Hub in Giza, where participants will collaborate with industry experts, mentors
and entrepreneurs to develop practical solutions to real-world challenges in
the logistics sector.
Top-performing
teams will receive financial awards, alongside access to mentorship,
specialised workshops on business model and technology development, and
opportunities to engage with key industry stakeholders.
Applications
for the hackathon are open until April 15, with organisers positioning the
programme as a key step in enhancing Egypt’s economic competitiveness and
strengthening its role as a regional hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
