Helios
Towers has signed an investment agreement with ANAPI-RDC to support the
expansion of telecommunications infrastructure across the country.
The
agreement is aimed at strengthening network resilience, widening connectivity,
and enabling more inclusive access to digital services as demand for
connectivity continues to grow.
Under
the partnership, Helios Towers will deploy new telecom sites in both urban and
rural areas, extending coverage to underserved communities while supporting
broader digital inclusion efforts.
The
initiative also includes a focus on developing local skills and advancing
sustainable energy solutions to support telecom operations.
The
company noted that the agreement builds on its longstanding presence in the
Democratic Republic of Congo and reflects continued commitment to delivering
infrastructure that supports economic development and digital transformation
across the country.
