Côte d’Ivoire has launched a Media Innovation Grant Programme aimed at
supporting journalists and content creators while promoting a more innovative
and digitally driven media ecosystem in the country.

The
initiative will provide five scholarships annually in key areas including
digital journalism, fact-checking and multimedia content creation, as part of
efforts to strengthen professional capacity within the media sector.
The
launch ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister of Communication, who
also serves as Government Spokesperson and patron of the programme,
underscoring institutional support for initiatives that advance media
development and digital transformation.

the skills needed to adapt to the evolving digital landscape and contribute to
a more resilient and credible information ecosystem.
