Helios
Towers has highlighted its ongoing investment in digital infrastructure during
a high-level engagement with the British Ambassador to Senegal, Carine Robarts,
in Dakar.
The
visit, hosted by Fatoumata Saoulou Mbaye and her team, provided an opportunity
to showcase the company’s role in expanding connectivity and supporting
economic growth through long-term infrastructure development.

Helios
Towers, a UK-listed firm, operates shared telecommunications infrastructure
across Africa and the Middle East, enabling mobile network operators to expand
coverage more efficiently and reach underserved populations. The company’s
model focuses on accelerating network deployment, improving operational
efficiency, and delivering energy-efficient solutions.
In
Senegal, where demand for connectivity continues to rise, the company indicated
that its investments are contributing to broader socio-economic outcomes,
including improved access to education, healthcare, and financial services,
while supporting business growth and digital inclusion.

The
engagement also underscored ongoing collaboration between Helios Towers and the
British Embassy Dakar, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening digital
infrastructure and bridging the digital divide in the region.
