The Ministère de l’Économie numérique, de la Digitalisation et de l’Innovation Gabon has intensified preparations for the upcoming Libreville International Forum scheduled for 3 May in Libreville.

As part of the coordination process, the Minister of Digital Economy, Digitalization and Innovation Mark-Alexandre Doumba held a strategic working session at the Omar Bongo Ondimba Convention Center with the General Commissioner for Exhibitions of Gabon, Nina Abouna.

The meeting reviewed organisational arrangements for the high-level event, which is expected to bring together Heads of State, led by President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, alongside representatives from the public and private sectors as well as international institutions.

Discussions focused on the structuring of thematic panels, mobilisation of international partners, and coordination of exhibitions showcasing national expertise and innovation capabilities.

Officials said the forum will address key development and innovation challenges, positioning Gabon as an active participant in Africa’s digital transformation agenda.

With the event approaching, organisers said preparations are being accelerated to ensure the forum serves as a major platform for dialogue, partnership and investment in the digital economy.
