The
International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has announced a call for Swiss
universities and research institutions to showcase artificial intelligence
projects at the upcoming AI for Good Global Summit 2026 in Geneva.
The
initiative forms part of Kaleidoscope 2026 and is aimed at highlighting
cutting-edge research and innovation from Switzerland’s academic and scientific
community on a global platform.

According
to the ITU, the exhibition opportunity is designed to bring together
researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and global experts to explore
advancements in artificial intelligence and its real-world applications.
Selected projects will be featured during the summit, providing visibility to
innovations with potential social, economic, and technological impact.
The
AI for Good Global Summit is scheduled to take place from 7 to 10 July 2026 in
Geneva, Switzerland, and is expected to convene stakeholders from across the
global AI ecosystem to discuss emerging trends, governance, and ethical
deployment of AI technologies.

Applications
for the exhibition are now open, with a submission deadline set for 10 May
2026. The ITU noted that the opportunity is intended to strengthen
international collaboration and position Swiss research at the centre of global
AI discussions.
The
summit continues to serve as a key platform for advancing dialogue on
responsible and inclusive AI development worldwide.
