Airtel
Tanzania has held strategic discussions with technology experts from Huawei
focused on expanding communication services and strengthening the country’s
digital infrastructure.
The
meeting, involving Airtel Tanzania’s Managing Director and Huawei
representatives, centered on enhancing network capacity and improving service
quality across mobile and home broadband platforms.

Key
areas of discussion included strategies to support user growth, the deployment
of AI-powered core networks to improve stability and performance, and the
evolution of microwave network systems. The talks also explored the development
of intelligent transmission networks aimed at increasing operational efficiency
and modernising Tanzania’s telecommunications infrastructure.

According
to Airtel Tanzania, the collaboration reflects ongoing efforts to ensure that
users across the country benefit from reliable, high-speed, and high-quality
connectivity as digital demand continues to grow.
The
two organisations emphasized their shared commitment to advancing
next-generation network innovation and supporting Tanzania’s broader digital
transformation agenda.
