The
Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has announced
continued expansion by global customer experience company Foundever in Egypt,
following high-level discussions with the Ministry of Communications and
Information Technology (MCIT) and ITIDA leadership.
The
meeting, held with H.E. Eng. Raafat Hendy, Minister of Communications and
Information Technology, focused on Foundever’s growing investment in AI-enabled
customer experience operations, multilingual talent development, and digital
service delivery in Egypt.

Participants
included Eng. Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of ITIDA, Eng. Mahmoud Sofrata, Vice President
of ITIDA, senior representatives from MCIT and ITIDA, as well as Foundever
executives including Benedita Miranda, COO EMEA, Vitor Silva, Vice President of
Operations, and Mina Wahba, Country Leader for Egypt.
Discussions
highlighted Foundever’s operational growth in Egypt, where the company
currently employs 2,700 staff across Maadi, Nasr City, and Luxor, with planned
expansion into Giza and continued scaling of its Upper Egypt operations.
The
engagement also showcased Foundever’s global AI transformation strategy, which
includes investments in automation, analytics, and the development of an AI
Center of Excellence in Barcelona, where Egyptian AI professionals contribute
to global innovation initiatives.

Minister
Raafat Hendy reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening its position as a
global digital services and offshoring hub through sustained investment in
talent development, infrastructure, and enabling policy frameworks.
ITIDA
CEO Ahmed Elzaher noted that Foundever’s expansion reflects growing
international confidence in Egypt’s digital outsourcing ecosystem and skilled
workforce, aligning with national objectives to position the country as a
global leader in digital services.
Foundever
COO EMEA Benedita Miranda emphasized Egypt’s strategic importance, citing its
multilingual talent pool, customer-centric culture, and strong operational
capabilities as key drivers of the company’s continued investment in the
country.
