The engagement came during the VisionTech PLG Rwanda Launch Summit, where senior government and industry leaders held discussions on strengthening the country’s digital ecosystem and expanding opportunities for innovation-led growth.

The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Juliana K. Muganza, participated in a leadership dialogue alongside officials from the Ministry of ICT and Innovation and industry representatives.

Rwanda Development Board said the discussions highlighted Rwanda’s ongoing digital transformation agenda and the importance of cross-sector collaboration in building a resilient and future-ready digital economy.

Participants included Rwanda’s Minister of State for ICT and Innovation, Yves N. Iradukunda, and VisionTech PLG Chief Executive Officer Aliasgar Dohadwala, who joined discussions on strengthening partnerships within the technology ecosystem.

The dialogue focused on leveraging digital infrastructure development, enhancing cybersecurity frameworks and expanding the use of artificial intelligence-powered services to support public and private sector transformation.

Officials emphasized that continued collaboration between government institutions and technology partners will be essential in advancing Rwanda’s ambition to position itself as a regional digital innovation hub.
