The
National ICT Innovation Hub has entered into a partnership with the Diversity
Ability Support Network System (DASUNS) through the signing of a Memorandum of
Understanding aimed at advancing disability-inclusive innovation within
Uganda’s digital ecosystem.
The
agreement is intended to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions
in promoting accessible digital solutions, building capacity and expanding
opportunities for persons with disabilities in the technology and innovation
sector.

National
ICT Innovation Hub said the partnership reflects a commitment to ensuring that
digital transformation initiatives are inclusive and accessible to all segments
of society.
Under
the agreement, both organisations will work together to support the development
of inclusive innovation frameworks, enhance accessibility standards in digital
services and create pathways for persons with disabilities to actively
participate in Uganda’s growing innovation ecosystem.

The
collaboration is expected to contribute to broader national efforts to leverage
technology for social inclusion, while strengthening Uganda’s position in
developing equitable and people-centred digital solutions.
