The Kosmos Innovation Center
(KIC) has officially launched activities to mark its 10th anniversary,
celebrating a decade of supporting youth entrepreneurship, innovation, and
agricultural transformation in Ghana.
The anniversary celebrations
are being held under the theme, “A Decade of Youth Impact, Innovation and
Agricultural Transformation,” reflecting the organisation’s contributions to
developing young entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable agribusiness solutions
over the past ten years.

Since its establishment, KIC
has focused on empowering young people through entrepreneurship training,
innovation programs, mentorship, and business development support aimed at
creating sustainable enterprises and employment opportunities within the agricultural
sector.
Launching the anniversary
celebrations, KIC described the milestone as both a reflection on its
achievements and a renewed commitment to advancing youth empowerment,
agricultural innovation, and entrepreneurship development across Africa.
The organisation
acknowledged the role played by its founding partner, Kosmos Energy, as well as
key collaborators including the Mastercard Foundation, whose support has
enabled the expansion of KIC’s programmes to reach more young people throughout
Ghana.

KIC also expressed
appreciation to government institutions, universities, mentors, investors,
private sector organisations, development partners, and other stakeholders who
have contributed to the growth and success of its initiatives over the past
decade.
The centre further
recognised the achievements of its entrepreneurs and alumni, noting that their
innovation, resilience, and business successes continue to demonstrate the
impact of investments in youth-led enterprise development.
As part of its anniversary
activities, KIC is expected to reflect on lessons learned over the past ten
years while exploring new opportunities to deepen its support for
innovation-driven entrepreneurship and agricultural transformation in Ghana and
beyond.
