Kenya has held discussions with the Slovak Republic aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

The Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy, Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, received the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Kenya, H.E. Maroš Mitrík, for a courtesy call in Nairobi where the two sides explored areas of mutual collaboration.

According to the Ministry, the engagement focused on strengthening strategic partnerships that support Kenya’s broader digital transformation agenda and the development of a connected and globally competitive digital economy.

Hon. Kabogo reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to expanding international cooperation in technology and innovation, noting that such partnerships are key to advancing inclusive development and sustainable economic growth.
