UNICEF Kenya has issued a
call for expressions of interest to identify an implementing partner to support
a digital education project aimed at strengthening the country's digitally
enabled learning ecosystem.
The organisation is seeking
a partner with proven expertise in delivering digital learning interventions in
Kenya to help improve digital skills and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy
among learners.
The selected partner will
support the upskilling of educators and facilitators to expand access to
digital learning for students both in and out of school across targeted
counties.
The project will also
include the implementation of educator support mechanisms, peer learning
initiatives, online safety training for teachers and parents, programme
sensitisation activities, and monitoring and evaluation.
According to UNICEF Kenya,
the initiative is designed to enhance the quality of digital education while
equipping learners with the skills required to participate effectively in an
increasingly technology-driven world.
Interested organisations are
required to be registered on the United Nations Partner Portal to access the
full application details and submit their expressions of interest.
