Namibia’s Minister of
Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, has met with the
newly appointed NamPost Board of Directors to discuss its priorities, planned
activities and role in guiding the organisation’s strategic direction.
The meeting took place at
the Ministry’s headquarters on 22 October 2026, marking the first engagement
between the minister and the new board members.
The meeting provided an
opportunity for the Board to outline the tasks it intends to undertake in
fulfilling its mandate, with discussions focusing on its forward plans and its
role in supporting NamPost’s continued development.
The engagement forms part of
the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with its public
entities, ensuring strategic alignment, effective governance and a shared
commitment to advancing Namibia’s digital and postal services agenda.
