MTN Rwanda has signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rwanda’s National Cyber Security
Authority (NCSA) to support capacity building and in-demand skills development
in cybersecurity and data protection through the CyberHub Academy and Innovation
Centre.
The partnership aims to
strengthen local expertise, promote practical training and develop the skills
needed to address evolving digital threats in Rwanda and the wider region.
MTN Rwanda CEO Monzer A.
joined industry leaders at a panel discussion organised by the NCSA, where he
shared perspectives on strengthening cybersecurity and building a safer, more
trusted cyberspace for all Rwandans.
The engagement highlighted
the importance of collaboration, shared responsibility and a strong commitment
to protecting Rwanda’s digital ecosystem.
“At MTN Rwanda, we remain
committed to enabling a secure and inclusive digital environment where everyone
can enjoy the benefits of connectivity with confidence,” the company said.
