Côte
d’Ivoire has begun its participation at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, with government
officials and representatives of the country’s digital ecosystem highlighting
national innovation and strengthening international partnerships.
The
Minister for Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara,
together with the Minister for the Promotion of Youth, Professional Integration
and Civic Service, Mamadou Touré, visited the Côte d’Ivoire pavilion on the
opening day of the event.
The
pavilion features Ivorian startups, entrepreneurs, and key players from the
country’s growing technology ecosystem, showcasing solutions and innovations
developed locally.
According
to officials, the country’s participation at VivaTech 2026 provides a platform
to promote Ivorian talent, expand strategic partnerships, and attract
investment into the digital sector.
The
engagement forms part of broader efforts by the government to position Côte
d’Ivoire as a regional hub for innovation and technology-driven development.
Officials
noted that the focus during the event will be on strengthening international
collaboration and advancing the country’s vision of a digitally enabled economy
driven by youth participation and innovation.
The
participation at VivaTech 2026 underscores Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to
accelerating its digital transformation agenda and integrating more deeply into
the global innovation ecosystem.
