Côte d’Ivoire has invited
Rwanda to participate in IvoireTech 2026, an upcoming innovation and technology
gathering aimed at bringing together African and international stakeholders to
accelerate digital transformation, artificial intelligence and technological
development across the continent.
The invitation was extended
by Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation,
Djibril Ouattara, during a meeting with Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and
Innovation, Paula Ingabire.
The engagement formed part
of ongoing discussions among African technology leaders on strengthening
cooperation, sharing innovation experiences and building collaborative
approaches to advance the continent’s digital economy.
Minister Ouattara
highlighted the importance of bringing together African countries and global
partners through platforms such as IvoireTech 2026 to promote innovation,
artificial intelligence adoption and digital solutions tailored to Africa’s
development needs.
The meeting with Minister
Ingabire also underscored the growing collaboration between Côte d’Ivoire and
Rwanda, two countries that have positioned digital transformation, innovation
ecosystems and emerging technologies as key drivers of economic growth.
IvoireTech 2026 is expected
to serve as a platform for policymakers, technology companies, startups,
researchers and investors to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for
advancing Africa’s digital future.
