The
Executive Secretary of the Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern
Africa (CRASA) has reasserted the organisation’s commitment to strengthening
regional cooperation in the information and communications technology (ICT) and
postal sectors during a courtesy visit to the Namibian Embassy.
The
visit formed part of the Executive Secretary’s engagements with stakeholders
and provided an opportunity to connect with representatives of Namibia while
discussing areas of mutual interest.
During
the meeting, the Executive Secretary highlighted the importance of
collaboration between CRASA and its member states in advancing regional
initiatives that support the growth and development of ICT and postal services
across Southern Africa.
Discussions
also focused on continued cooperation among countries in the region and the
role of regulatory collaboration in creating a more connected and digitally
enabled Southern Africa.
The
CRASA Executive Secretary expressed appreciation for the warm reception from
the Namibian Embassy and acknowledged the importance of continued support and
engagement as the association works towards achieving its regional objectives.
