Gabon’s National Agency for Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF) has held talks with a delegation from the United States Army to explore opportunities for technical cooperation and strengthen international partnerships in support of the country's digital transformation agenda.

The meeting took place at ANINF headquarters, where Director General Alberto Mounguengui Moudoki welcomed the U.S. military delegation during its working visit to Gabon.

The discussions provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain an overview of ANINF’s mandate, organisational structure and the agency’s ongoing initiatives aimed at modernising Gabon’s digital infrastructure and public sector digital services.

Talks focused on potential areas of collaboration, including the development of digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, capacity building and technical cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

ANINF said the engagement reflects its commitment to expanding international partnerships that can support the development of a secure, resilient and high-performance digital ecosystem in Gabon.

The agency noted that strengthening cooperation with international partners is aligned with the national vision of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, which identifies digital transformation as a strategic driver of the country's socio-economic development.

ANINF added that it will continue to promote partnerships centred on knowledge sharing, innovation and skills development as part of efforts to strengthen Gabon's digital sovereignty and accelerate the country's digital transformation.
