The MTN Benin Foundation has
completed its Back to School 2026-2027 campaign with the handover of school
kits to pupils at two public primary schools in Toucountouna and Tanguiéta.
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026,
the foundation, led by its Director, Essinu Enyota Djomeda, handed over the
school kits to pupils of the Public Primary School of Kouarfa in Toucountouna
and the Public Primary School of Cotiacou in Tanguiéta.
The two handovers marked the
final stages of the campaign, which aims to support pupils as they prepare for
the new school year.
The ceremony in Toucountouna
took place in the presence of the commune’s mayor, Patricia Ponna Saï, who
welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the municipality’s availability to
deepen the partnership in the service of the population.
The support is intended to
help pupils in both schools begin the academic year in better conditions while
easing the financial burden on families, particularly those in rural areas.
Through the initiative, MTN
Benin reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive and quality education, which it
described as an essential lever for community development.
The foundation thanked the
municipal authorities, teaching teams and parents of pupils in Kouarfa and
Cotiacou for their welcome and mobilisation.
