MoMo Uganda has held
discussions with officials from Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs
on opportunities to accelerate the digital transformation of the city through
collaboration between government, private sector players, and key stakeholders.
The discussion took place at
MoMo Uganda’s head office, where the company hosted the Minister of State for
Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, Hon. Kabuye Kyofa, alongside
Frank Mawejje, Chairman of the Boda Boda Union.
The delegation was received
by MoMo Uganda Managing Director Phrase Lubega and members of the company’s
leadership team, with discussions focusing on how digital solutions can support
efforts to improve everyday experiences for residents and businesses in
Kampala.
The meeting explored
opportunities to leverage technology to enhance accessibility, convenience, and
efficiency across different aspects of city life, including mobility, business
operations, and access to essential services.
MoMo Uganda highlighted the
importance of partnerships between government institutions, private sector
organisations, and community stakeholders in developing inclusive digital
solutions that respond to the needs of a growing urban population.
