The Autorité de Régulation
des TIC (ARTCI) and MTN Côte d’Ivoire have reaffirmed their commitment to
strengthening collaboration and maintaining constructive dialogue on the
development of the country’s telecommunications and ICT sector.
The renewed engagement
followed a courtesy visit by Ada Reda, the new CEO of MTN Côte d’Ivoire, to the
Regulatory Council of the ARTCI. The two institutions subsequently held a
working session on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the premises of MTN Côte
d’Ivoire.
The session brought together
the Chairman of the ARTCI Regulatory Board, Roger Felix Adom, alongside
Regulatory Board members Laure Besse, Isaac Gnamba-Yao and Ahmed Sako, as well
as members of the ARTCI Management Committee. They met with Reda and his senior
management team to discuss issues affecting the telecommunications and ICT
sector.
Discussions focused on the
challenges facing the sector and the need for continued engagement between the
regulator and industry stakeholders. The meeting provided an opportunity for
both institutions to exchange views and explore areas for continued cooperation.
ARTCI and MTN Côte d’Ivoire
also reaffirmed their shared commitment to maintaining close collaboration and
constructive dialogue in support of the development of Côte d’Ivoire’s digital
ecosystem.
