Rwanda is seeking to
strengthen links between its global technology talent and the country’s growing
digital and artificial intelligence ecosystem, as the government explores
opportunities to leverage expertise from Rwandan professionals working abroad.
Minister of ICT and
Innovation, Paula Ingabire, held discussions with young Rwandan professionals
working across the San Francisco Bay Area’s technology sector on the sidelines
of Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference.
The engagement focused on
connecting Rwanda’s global talent with developments in the country’s rapidly
expanding digital and AI ecosystem.
The discussions provided an
opportunity to explore how Rwandan professionals working in the technology
sector can share expertise, contribute to innovation and support Rwanda’s
broader technological transformation.
The engagement also
highlighted the potential for stronger connections between Rwanda’s technology
ecosystem and professionals with experience in one of the world’s major
technology hubs.
Through such interactions,
Rwanda is seeking to create opportunities for knowledge exchange and
collaboration while drawing on the skills and experience of its global
technology community.
