The Nigerian Communications
Commission (NCC) is hosting the inaugural Nigeria Digital Connectivity
Investment Forum in Abuja from 29–30 September 2026, bringing together
investors, policymakers, operators and regulators to discuss investment
opportunities and the future of Nigeria’s digital infrastructure.
The forum is being held in
partnership with Swedfund International AB and Ookla and is focused on
mobilising investment to build the digital infrastructure needed to support
Nigeria’s future.
Dr Jumoke Oduwole,
Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, is scheduled to deliver
the keynote address on the first day of the forum.
Mr Taiwo Oyedele, Honourable
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, is the keynote
speaker for the second day.
Other speakers include
Ambassador Anna Westerholm, Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria; Bismarck Rewane,
Chairman, FCMB Group Plc; and Bolaji Balogun, CEO, Chapel Hill Denham.
The two-day forum provides a
platform for investors, policymakers, operators and regulators to examine
opportunities for investment in Nigeria’s digital connectivity infrastructure
and discuss the direction of the country’s digital infrastructure landscape.
The NCC said the forum
represents an important conversation around mobilising investment to build the
digital infrastructure that will power Nigeria’s future.
